Chia Oreo Banana Parfait
This is really a great dessert for gatherings or just for the family. Almost Healthy with a little mix of sweetness and crunch.
All you need is a little pre planning for this one. I would make this the night before or at least 8 hours before you want to serve it. The secret is the chia seeds as they need time to absorb the moisture of the plant base milk. Chia seeds are a super food with a lot of nutrients and benefits.

The oreos in this gives a great crunch and chocolate sweetness that combines nicely with the banana.

Oreo Chocolate Banana Chia Parfait
Equipment
- Mason Jar
Ingredients
- 1 cup Chocolate Almond Milk Or any Plant Base Milk
- 4 tbs Chia Seeds
- 1 tbs Vanilla Extract
- 4 Oreos
- 1/2 Banana
Instructions
- Using a mason jar add the 1 cup of plant base milk, 4 tablespoons of chia seeds and 1 table spoon of vanilla extract.
- Close lid on jar and shake for a few minutes to really mix up the chia seeds.Continue throughout the day or evening giving it a good shake for a minute a few times.
- Let it rest in the fridge for at least 8 hours.
- Once you are ready to assemble take out the mason jar and you will see how thick the chia pudding became.
- Now in a glass of your choice add half of the (crushed) Oreo pieces to the bottom.
- Add some of the thick chia pudding on top of the oreos and repeat once more.
- Take some of the banana and slice in pieces. Layer this on top or inside of the Pudding .Place a slice of banana on the side of the glass and add a whole oreo cookie in the middle for presentation. (optional ).
- Serve and Enjoy.
