My Story

James W.C. Perry is the Author of What To Feed A Vegan or a Gorilla if Ones Stops By. A loyal man to family and friends. A Reiki Master, Certified Vegan Chef and Baker, Certified Personal Trainer & Black Belt In Tae Kwon Do. I love to cook and create recipes and am always looking for new things to learn and create.

Owner of The Vegan Gorilla Cooking School. My passions are cooking, exercise, martial arts, boxing, health awareness, positive energy, travel and writing recipes.

Changing my life eating habits to Vegan has played a huge impact on me. I was on cholesterol medication and suffered from gout 1 to 2 times a year. My shoulders both have torn rotator cuffs on both sides and bone chips floating within. I could hardly remove my shirt without having to take a breath first.

Going Vegan has removed 90% of my shoulder pain. I am completely off cholesterol medication and no longer suffer from gout attacks. I was a huge meat eater before. Now Im just a huge eater ;).

At 205 lbs I still body build, box and wrestle with my 2 boys and nephews who are very strong. Not an easy task when you’re in your 50’s . Being Vegan has made this all possible for me.

I am hoping to motivate others to benefit from eating this way with my recipes, blogs and stories in this awesome world.
