Meatless Loaf

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup cooked bulgar
  • 1 cup ground flax seed
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 can lentils uncooked
  • 1/4 cup soy
  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 1oice tbsp bbq sauce your ch
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1 can chick peas uncooked
  • 1 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1 tbs old bay spice

Instructions
 

  • mash the beans until a bit chunky.
  • add the remainder of the ingredients and mix with your hands to really mesh the ingredients together.
  • preheat oven to 350 F
  • Add mixture into loaf pan and press until firm
  • make meatball shapes or burger shapes with remaining mixture
  • For the glaze add 1/2 cup bbq sauce, 2tbs of cane sugar,1 tbs liquid smoke and 1 tsp of onion powder.
    Mix well in mixing bowl then brush 1/2 of the mixture on to of loaf. After about 20 min in the oven brush the remainder of the glaze on top of the loaf again.
  • this recipe makes a lot so you can freeze some once it is all shaped.
  • cook in oven for 40-50 min pending on your oven
