Equipment

  • Frying Pan

Ingredients

  • 350 g Organic firm Tofu doesn't have to be organic but must be firm
  • 3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili flakes gives a slight kick but optional
  • 2 tbsp dried onion flakes
  • 2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 tsp course celtic sea salt
  • 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper

Instructions

  • Drain tofu and press out as much of the water as you can. I use a fresh tea towel and wrap it. Then I place a cast iron pan on top (because it's heavy) for about 15-20 min
  • Now that you pressed the tofu, take your hands and crumble it up into small chunk like pieces.
    add ingredients
  • Add the tofu and the rest of the ingredients to a non stick pan and turn heat to medium -high heat.
  • Continue to stir for aprox 10 min. Or sooner if you don't want it as crispy. And your done !
