Great Snack
This is one of my favourite go to snacks. Its quick, simple and not a lot of calories (as long you don’t put too much vegan butter on it). Simple to make. You can use a pot with a lid or one of these beauties I have had for a long time. It is great because it has a crank n the handle that actually turns the kernels at the bottom so they don’t burn. I will see if I can find one and put it on the list of kitchen must haves.
Delicious Popcorn
Equipment
- good pot with lid
Materials
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 2 tbsp. cooking oil of choice I use grape seed oil
- 2 tbsp. vegan butter
- pinch or 2 of sea salt
Instructions
- Add your cooking oil to the pot and place on medium to high heat
- As the popcorn starts to pop shake the pot back and forth holding on to the lid
- Once the popcorn is done popping transfer into a bowl.
- now add the vegan butter in the same pot and allow it to melt completely
- pour the vegan butter on the popcorn and add a few pinches of salt and mix
- For a different flavour add 2 tblsp. of nutritional yeast if you like.
