These are pretty new in Canada

Plant base nuggets sold through A&W chains now. I have to admit it wasn’t that long ago I was thinking how they remained to stay opened. The few locations that were left never seemed to be busy at all.

There was a time however that this place rocked and did very well. Although I don’t know the logistics behind the franchise, they must be doing something right since they are still around.

Now with the new beyond meat burgers introduced, they seemed to have created a lot more interest just from my own observations.

Taking it a step farther, Now they have plant base nuggets too. I thought I would give them a try. For a quick road trip meal it does the trick. However they don’t have a whole lot of flavour and are pretty thin between the fried breading as you can see in the photo below. Actually they seem to look bigger in the photo lol but they are pretty thin.

Over all though there not too bad in a pinch and rates about the same as most other fast foods. I would give this a 7 out of 10 Gorillas .
