Roasted Butternut Squash

Simple Roasted Squash

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Whole Butternut Squash
  • Add Kosher Salt
  • Add Crushed Black Pepper
  • Add Grape Seed Oil

Method
 

  1. Carefully Slice the butternut squash from top to bottom. If it is too difficult to cut,try putting it in a microwave for 4 or 5 min. This should help soften it up and make it easier to cut.
  2. Pre heat oven to 375 deg.
  3. Using a spoon ,remove the seeds from both sides of the squash
  4. Now sprinkle the salt and cracked pepper all over the flesh of the squash
    Drizzle with the grape seed oil covering the surface
  5. Place both halves face up on a baking sheet and cook for aprox 40-50 min or fork tender.
  6. Makes for a great side for any main course
