Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups dark chocolate I used 72%
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups large pitted dates . (approximate 30)
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds

Equipment

  • small pot
  • small stainless steel bowl

Method

  1. Add 2 cups of water to your pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Place stainles steel bowl in pot but above the water line. If you have a double boiler than use that. I just find this way easier and quick. Add the chocolate in the bowl and stir as it starts to melt.
